Our Physicians
As neurologists, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system. This includes diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists may serve as consultants to other physicians as well as provide long-term care to patients with chronic neurological disorders.
Our physicians:
After graduating with cum laude honors from the University of Washington with degrees in chemistry and psychology, Dr. Fosmire earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. His residency in neurology was completed at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco.
He served as chief of neurology at Eisenhower Army Medical Center to fulfill his obligation for a military medical scholarship. After a 15 year hiatus, he was able to return to the Seattle area to continue his medical career.

He then went to U.C.L.A. for a residency in neurology (1987-90) and was a clinical instructor there until 1992. He completed a fellowship in behavioral neurology and was the French Foundation Award recipient in Alzheimer disease research.
